This group has been meeting since 2015. Our aim is to taste wine in a relaxed setting and increase our knowledge and understanding of a range of wines.
We meet in members' homes once a month, with the host choosing a theme for the evening. It may be one grape variety or several wines from one country, but it is really up to the host to choose an interesting set of wines. We usually taste blind and try to work out (or guess!) what the theme is. Afterwards we enjoy the wines, knowing what they are and working out whether they taste different with the snacks we eat with them. We are always happy to be surprised1
Recent tastings
Chardonnay/ Pinot Noir

We meet on the fourth Monday of each month and members take it in turn to host the tastings, with the host choosing a theme for the evening. We usually taste five wines with a total cost of about £60 and after tasting and discussing the wine, we finish the evening with some snacks to go with the wine. This often changes our view of the wines, which sometimes taste better with food.
We currently have seven members and would welcome one or two more. Do get in touch if you would like to join us. The only requirement is that you enjoy tasting a range of wines, no knowledge is required.
