Want to find out your family background? Understand what life was like back then? Or maybe it will help you with other projects to find out about local history?
Family History Group 3 has 16 members with all sorts of experience as family historians. We all find it engrossing!
We meet on the first Thursday of the month in the morning from 10 - 12 in members' houses. New members who are just starting are welcome as we can help with researching their family history.
Not sure where to start? We’ll help you. We include 'Introductory/Refresher' sessions into our programme to give members new to Family History the opportunity to get started. We make time each meeting for Q&A where we can help each other.
We look forward to everyone participating in and maybe leading sessions at meetings, working in ones, or twos or threes, both large topics of interest, as well as small ones. We want everyone to take part and enjoy themselves and help each other learn about family history!
