History 6 is a friendly group of people with a mutual interest in all aspects of history. Each year we plan a programme of visits, walks or talks, which take place on the fourth Tuesday of the month. Members of the group take it in turns to organise/lead a visit, talk or walk.
In the past we have visited, among other places, Hatfield House, the British Library for their ‘Russian Revolution: Hope, Tragedy, Myths’ Exhibition and the Museum of London for their ‘Fire, Fire’ Exhibition.
We have had a number of walks and tours organized and lead by interesting and knowledgeable people, for example an ‘Inside out Architectural tour’ of the Albert Hall, walk around the Kings Cross /St Pancras renovated area and a walking tour of the Portman Estate in London.
