Meditation Group
Meditation is a simple practice available to all, which can reduce stress, increase calmness, clarity and promote happiness. Learning to meditate is straightforward and the benefits can come quickly.
We meet on Wednesdays . Sessions start at 11:20 for 11:30 and last up to an hour.
Traditionally the group met in person, however since Covid, declining numbers have resulted in a permanent drift towards meeting on ZOOM!.....This can change back to meeting in person if there is sufficient demand!
This is not a course. There is some structure to the meetings but they are always geared to new members, and, particularly to anyone who has not meditated before.
No rituals. No chanting. We sit on upright chairs or on the floor if that suits you. No experience necessary.
