Wine Tasting 1
Time - 19:30
Week - First
Day - Thursday
Group Organiser(s) - Mary Ternouth
Venue - Members' Homes
Vacancies - Registering Interest

Our aim is to taste and learn about new wines in an enjoyable setting. Meetings are normally in the evening on the first Thursday of the month.

Members take it in turn to ‘host’ the evening in their own homes, providing a themed wine tasting of their choice and some ‘starter’ information. We taste at least 6 wines in an evening at an average price of £13 and discuss what we think of them. We share a mix of knowledge, experience and preferences between us, but we all love drinking wine and finding out more about it.

Tastings often centre on different countries, grape varieties or comparisons. For example, recent  tastings have included   selections from the Wine Society's Generation series,  from 'the back of the wine cabinet' and from Bordeaux.

Due to venue restrictions, we have limited the group numbers attending to 10. The group is currently full. For more details, or to add your name to a waiting list, make contact via the above link.
